You could use an old window and put a light behind it.

You can use an old window and use mirror in place of glass. Looks awesome.

Do you want it to look like it has a scene outside of it, or a mirror? If the mirror you can get an old window and use looking glass spray paint on the back side of the window and then attach it to the wall.

Depending how wide your hall is sometime hanging a real window frame can consume the space. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love old windows I actually do a lot with them :)

Another option would be make your own out of trim you get from home depot or any other place that sells building materials.

Its light weight and you can make it oblong if you want and put in as many window sections as you want as well. paint it the color you want. and to fill in the window sections you could use the silver trays from the dollar store. Or tin. You might even try heavy duty tin foil. The options are endless. Try a clear shower curtain.

If you want me to make a video message me

    I understand some folks like a visual I know I do :)
