  Sorry I guess I didn't explain well enough. I just wanted to Build a support for the cradle with a ring on each side to put these hooks in so you could manually push it back and forth. Nevermind I should not have asked Have a Good Thanksgiving

What you have is dangerous. A hanging cradle stand is great for a cloth cradle. The weight of a wooden cradle and the baby is not safe for hanging. These are free plans for making cradles but you can just make a stand and adapt it to yours. You can make a rocker or a pendulum.

Alternately, you could get a carpenter to install rockers on the bottom.
