These cute little ornament shaped wax melts are made with soy wax and natural essential oil blends in a fun holiday line of essential oils. They are easy to make and look cute on display and smell amazing.

I used the Right Note fall and winter set of essential oil blends. I like these blends because they smell amazing, have a great scent, and are all natural.

The fall winter set has:

Christmas Splendor - A blend of pine and spice

Pumpkin Pie - Spices found in pumpkin spice

Apple Pie - Spice found in apple pie spice

Mint Blast - Peppermint, spearmint, and a touch of wintergreen

Eucalyptus Spearmint

Citrus Blend - Sweet orange, lemon, and grapefruit

Soy wax is soft, so I add stearic acid. Stearic acid makes it shrink slightly when cooled, so it comes out of the mold and your wax melter easier.

You'll need:

1 pound soy wax

3-6 tablespoons stearic acid

5 ml essential oils

Mica or candle colorant

Digital scale

Double boiler

Ornament mold

Start by melting the soy wax and the stearic acid in a double boiler. I used a Pyrex measuring cup and put it on a canning jar ring inside a pan of water.

Never heat soy wax over direct heat or in the microwave.

Heat until melted.

Carefully remove from heat and set on heat safe surface or on a hot pad. Add the essential oil and mica if you are coloring it. Stir for one minute.

Pour into the ornament mold.

Let them fully harden before you remove them from the mold. Use in a wax melter to scent your home.
