How to Clean Your Sink Faucet With Vinegar
Like most households, our kitchen sink gets a lot of use. I noticed that our sprayer wasn't spraying as well as it used to and the faucet needed a good cleaning.
We have hard water here in Austin that often clogs the pores in our faucets.
I found an easy way to clean our kitchen sink faucet with just vinegar. This is a great cleaning method if you don't like to use a lot of harsh cleaning products in your house.
Grab a baggie, rubber band, and white vinegar. Fill the baggie with white vinegar and then secure the baggie around the faucet head using a rubberband.
I like to get a big jar of vinegar from either Costco or Amazon. It's a better value and then you can use vinegar to clean lots of different household items.
Then, let it sit like this for several hours.
I like to do this at night and let it sit covered all night long.
When you remove the baggie, you will be amazed at how dirty the bag is and how clean the faucet is.
You might want to use a cloth or toothpick to help remove some of the little particles still stuck in the sprayer's holes.
When you turn on your faucet, you'll be amazed at how well the water comes out now.

I like to use this faucet cleaning method about once a month. It not only works on kitchen sinks, but also in the bathroom on shower heads and faucets.
