If they’re new sheets, wash & dry them first to remove processing dyes and to let them shrink, if they’re more than 40% cotton.
You'll only be able to use the flat sheet- and it needs to be long enough that it goes to the floor. Otherwise your curtains are going to look off. The easiest way to hang them is with curtain ring clips like this: https://jessicawellinginteriors.com/organize-kids-clothes-for-school/
You might be able to avoid sewing altogether if you use the clips. Good luck!
