How do I reuse "cake box" CD storage cases?

I have dozens of "cake box" CD storage cases that hold 50 new CD's. The measure about 3 1/2 inches tall. I hate to throw them away, so I am looking for ways to up-cycle or reuse them. Any ideas out there??

Display cases. The spindle can be cut and the hole covered with felt.
