Tape on laminate flooring?
I want to tape down an electrical cord onto my laminate floors. Will it ruin the floors? What kind of tape is best?
Zip ties would help wrangle the cords. If you can get them to go behind the "counter" desktop that is helpful. Or make a hole in the counter to fed them under the desk.
Can you use a zip tie to gather them together? That would be easier than drilling a hole in the desk to feed the cords through.
You buy a hole saw attachment the size of the largest plug to go through it 1" - 1 1/2". Tape off the area to be drilled towards a back corner. Feed you lines/plug through, then zip tie them together underneath to a electrical strip that has a surge protector to prevent your equipment from being fried.
