How do I clean the roof of my microwave?

The roof of my microwave is filthy & it's difficult to get up there to clean it. How can I clean it & may as do the rest of the micro at the same time..Thanks !.......Madeline

Hi Madeline, I fill my 4 cup Pyrex measuring cup and put it in the microwave. Then turn it on for 3 minutes.
The heat and steam loosens off any gunk sticking to the roof or walls. Then I can just wipe it down. Give it a try, it works great for me.
