Use snow in a spray can. Use poster paint to draw or write. It washes off easily
I love the look of wreaths on exterior windows!
Some people hang simple wreaths, like greenery with a large red bow, in each window. My husband puts lights around one large window facing the street and adds a lighted nativity scene in each window. People put faux candle sets in their window sills with red "flames" for decoration to show out of the home. Wreaths can even be hanged on the inside but facing out like behind curtains or blinds. Windows around a door can be decorated with shags or green garland with lights and maybe a faux 4 ft tree in front of each side window by the door. An elderly lady we used to have over would spray faux "frost" around the edges of each pane like she remembered frost from her childhood.
