How do I make my own fairy lights?
Here you go!
Hi Jerri: While you can make your own fairy lights, it is quite expensive to do so. You can check out the site, but I, myself, would just buy them. Good luck with whatever you choose to do.
Go to Dollar Tree and get them for $1.00.
That would take lots of wiring, soldering, and time -- you're probably better off just purchasing them as they're pretty inexpensive.
I don't know about soldering. . . but if you want, for instance, a run of fairy lights that are spaced differently than the commercial ones, you need elec. wire, the bulbs and the sockets. You would wire each socket as you would the socket for a lamp, split the wire, wrap it around the little screws, replace in socket cover, go on to next light. You might be better off using a commercial run and just not using all the sockets.
