How do I make a hanging spiral Christmas tree?

i've seen pics of hanging xmas trees that appear to be made of cardboard or something more pliable. When finished, they have ornaments & other decor hanging from them.

You'd take a big square piece of cardboard and cut a spiral into it then pull up in the center. If you go to the search bar at the top left, there are likely hanging tree ideas.
