Organize a small motor home
Is this motor home for permanent living, or for holiday use only?
Hi Donna. I'm Cindy. Organizing a small motor home can be tricky. I recommend using baskets, boxes, totes, or crates to keep things tidy. Then think vertical. Put shelves up to the ceiling to hold all these things. Install dowels in front of the shelves so everything doesn't go flying when you stop. If the ceiling is high enough, you can run a shelf around the entire perimeter. Even in the bathroom. If you have a bed or other furniture, there is storage space beneath it. That would be great storage for blankets, clothes, paper goods, etc. Hope this helps. Good luck Donna and Happy Holidays.
Hi Donna, I hope these videos help you out
I agree with Cindy, and would add that one good tool for organizing is the hanging shoe holder... I have organized quite a few RVs for my disabled clients and have hung these shoe holders next to the exit, on the exterior of the bathroom wall and in the bedroom. I also like the shower curtain with the pockets for storing the bathroom essentials,
I use many of the various size storage boxes, drawer trays, and square bins for organizing all areas of the RV. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Honey-Can-Do-24-Pocket-over-The-Door-Shoe-Organizer-White/17646701 just get rid of the hooks and screw to the wall
I would make keep, donate, and toss piles. Then start to organize the things you are keeping in either bins or baskets.
