    Hi Jerry, you can use vinegar to get rid of the limescale in kettles and on surfaces.

    Fill the kettle with an equal part solution of water and household vinegar and let this soak for an hour. Once the hour is up, just boil the kettle. Then, empty the kettle and rinse it thoroughly. If you don't have any vinegar to hand, try lemon juice!


    1. Pour one litre of undiluted white vinegar directly into the toilet bowl, being sure to pour it around the sides of the bowl.
    2. Let it sit for three-four hours.
    3. Scrub the toilet bowl with more white vinegar.
    4. Flush the toilet to rinse away the stains and residue.
