Epoxy resin is one of the safest ways to encase and protect a photograph.
I would suggest printing up the photograph size- cut to be inserted it into the coaster.
Applying that epoxy resin pour which will protect the photo and give you a crystal clear finish.
I’ve recently done epoxy resin on various painted surfaces actual paintings on canvas paper and it seals it beautifully with a thick shiny sealer.
