How do I paint a front door?

'l need your DE glosser, and the net how to get a hold of you since was just watching you paint a dining room chair with drop cloth cover. Sure learned a lot especially with primer having texture. Also need my laminate bathroom cabinets painted and this is quick drying

I would recommend using a paint that is formulated for doors. Personal preference whether to spray or brush or roll. I don't spray unless I can take the door down.

I just repainted my back door with Rustoleum Marine Paint since it repels water great. It is a gloss finish. Very sturdy, I prefer marine paints for any outside projects. As to a good pre-painting deglosser, TSP is the old stand-by.
