How can I upcycle silver plated punch cups?

I have a bunch of silver plated punch cups. They are quite pretty, but who uses punch cups anymore? I can't even seem to give them away. I was thinking of making a rain chain fountain thing - would love ideas!

Here are some good ideas: https://www.pinterest.com/jwampler96/punch-bowl-cups-repurposed/

A word of caution though…Pintrest can suck you in for hours just to look at pretty things. Trust me, I’ve been there for hours at a time looking for “just one thing”.

I have looked at these before. Unfortunately these are all glass punch cups. The ones I have are metal with a silver plating.

Or...ornaments. Glue a small Christmas ornament to the inside in the direction they will hang on the tree and add a bow and hanger to the handle.

Spray them a different color and use for a small succulent or candle holder.

Add to the sink for a bar of soap.

You can always donate them to Goodwill or other charities. I like the rain chain idea. Use a chain or better yet a stainless wire. Drill hole in bottom and use some type of clip to keep the cups in place. Put on one clip, slide cup up, and add another at bottom of cup. You can fins the SS wire at hardware section of Home Depot. It is normally used for clotheslines or other supports.
