Can you help me with rug placement in my new bedroom?
I'm starting to pick out decor items for when I move in a few months, and I'm stuck on how big of a rug I need for me and my fiance's bedroom. our room is 10'9"x 9'8" suraj palette and we plan on having a king-size bed, so I'm not sure if we should just get a runner for the foot of the bed or if we should get a huge carpet and have it go around the foot and sides. We'll have tile flooring so the rug will be nice, but I don't want something that is mostly hidden by our huge bed. Additionally, we're getting a gas lift storage bed where the frame sits on the floor, so having carpet under the bed seems like a waste of a beautiful rug. Any ideas on what will look the nicest? luxury retirement homes in india
Hi There,
Had you thought to buy 3 identical rugs - one each side and one for the bottom? Best wishes.
You could do a 5 x 7 and put at the end of the bed. It could even be a little bit under.
I would say that you want the carpet to be under your feet on either side of the bed and possibly at the end of the bed as well . You can do this by getting a large rug that covers the whole area of smaller rugs placed around the edges of the bed .
With a 10 x 9 room any carpet larger than a runner will be hidden by the bed.

I would go with a runner on each side with a bench at the foot of the bed.
