Is there a safe way to bleach brown geese feathers?

I live ose to a park that is home to a small flock of Canadian geese. I started gathering their feathers when they molt. I make wing fans and smudging feathers..i am looking got other fesyver craft ideas if any one had any thought. But my actual question is... is yhere acwsy yo safely bleach brown feathers white?

Yes you can, but typical 'laundry' bleach will destroy the feathers. Here is how to proceed.

You could use your feathers in dream catchers. I watch a You Tube channel called 'Your House A Home'. This lady made pictures with feathers. Her art work is beautiful.

''You can bleach feathers by mixing a 1:1 ratio of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide and household ammonia. Let soak for a few hours and sometimes overnight. This is the process that I've used before to bleach out some feathers for fly tying. It won't bleach them to a brilliant 'white'' but will definitely bleach them out. ''
