MAKE THESE SUPER SIMPLE & BUDGET SAVVY DIY ORNAMENTS WITH SUPPLIES YOU CAN GET FROM ANY DOLLAR STORE

Completed DIY Hymnal Ornament

Supplies:

  • Ornaments (they can be old or new or plastic or glass)
  • Hymnal Book or Music Sheet
  • Mod Podge
  • Paint Brush

I started by picking out my favorite Christmas time Hymnals & cutting them out of an old hymnal book I had. You can use music sheets or your favorite pages of a Christmas story if you want.

Next I covered my bulb in mod podge & started covering the bulb with my hymnal sheet. It took one whole sheet per ornament plus a few extra scrap pieces.

The trick is to not worry about the placement too much, you don't want it smooth & it would be impossible to make it that way. I think the more crinkly the better!

That's it the easiest & most budget-savvy way to change up your entire décor. This is a great way to make use of old ornaments that aren't your style anymore. These would even look great in a glass bowl as a centerpiece.

Ta Da! The completed diy dollar tree ornament!
