I need to know what kind of wax to use for car scents to use and where to get it
Shirley: maybe this will help
Here's a link with 3 ideas:
I just stick a dryer sheet or two in there.
Here are 5 different kinds: https://simplelifemom.com/2014/10/29/5-homamde-car-air-fresheners/
I keep a bag of of bamboo charcoal in my car. About once a month I leave it on the dash to recharge. They last about 2 years and can be it in compost when they quit working. I think the brand I have is Miso.
The best thing to use is In-Dash Soap: Dial Gold, Dove, Irish Spring anything with Perfume make In-Dash Soaps. Even some Cologne Manufacturers make In-Dash soap: Brut, Stetson, Obsession, Old Spice just to name a few. They don't call them In-Dash soaps because they do not care where you put them: In Closet, In Drawer, In Laundry, heck they don't care if they put them In Hair. Imagine the Ad for In-Dash Soaps: 'It doesn't just cover up the stink on a stinkin' hot day, It makes it smell like you just bathed in your car!' And they do! There are lots of varieties of small soaps at Bed, Bath & Beyond. These are In-Dash Soaps too. I learned this trick at age 9 or 10 from an Old Car Dealer, in Bethel, PA. Remember the old cars that had ashtrays? Well this guy put those mini rose shaped bath soaps in all the ashtrays to make the Test Drives smell much better. It was a Clever Tip IMO. Ever since it has been practice in my home to put a bar of soap in my sock drawer. No Big difference to put these in the Car, even if you need to get an old container from Walmart Potato Salad and poke holes in the lid, it is an Air Freshener and to a small extent also a dehumidifier too. Take it from a man with about 40 allergies: Soap helps.
Here you go!
