Denisha: I merely bring a Pyrex cup of water to a boil... and "cook" for about minutes. Let it sit... do not open door for about 15 minutes. Then! use clean cloth to finish the job! (Add lemon juice for a nice touch!)
Place a cup of water inside your microwave. Watch it closely and just as it begins to boil, turn the microwave off. Wait a minute and then take the cup of water out. Be careful, it will be hot. Doing this will create a sauna effect and make it easier to wipe the inside to clean it. I recommend putting the microwave plate in your dishwasher to clean it properly.
No need for any chemicals to clean a microwave. Put a cup of water in it and bring it to a boil, stop when it is boiling, but do not open the microwave. Allow it to sit for 15-30 min undisturbed, then open the door and wipe it out. Clean the plate in the dishwasher if your microwave has 1 or wash it in the sink with warm soapy water, rinse and let dry.
I’ll “cook” a bowl of water with a half of lemon (quartered) for 3 to 5 minutes (depends on how dirty). The grime comes right out since its been steamed. Bonus effect my microwave smells good too!
Take a microwavable glass bowl. Fill with 1 cup white vinegar and water..
Place in microwave and set cook timer for 6 min. Wait 2-3 min before opening , the steam will have covered sides top/bottom wipe clean with paper towels or clean rags...will all so boost laundry. Use left over water/vinegar to clean outside microwave and other appliances. Pour down sink to freshed drains as well.
