What is the best method for laying wood on top of concrete?
So I am planning on placing wood on top of concrete and I just wanted to know the best method to do that. I was thinking of laying some moisture resistant underlay to protect the wood. The floor is quite bumpy also so I was hoping the underlay cusion would help straighten the floor once the wood is placed on top. If you think underlay is a good idea which kind is best?
You should definitely have a waterproof membrane down. We have always used the type that goes between decking and roofing. You might also need to use floor leveler, which is a self leveling compound.
Ok thanks il look into it
What part of the house are you putting the wood floors down in? Basement? Main level on a slab? Also- what type of wood?

I'm having a hard time uploading the other 2 videos so I wrote out a description. I am not sure of your skill level so I may have not explained it clearly. Let me know if this helps.

Is this outside? If so, Could you use some wood deck tiles like these: https://fave.co/2s3tFQI ?
Hi Ali, hope the attached link helps you out,

And read the product installation guide, otherwise you might unknowingly void your warranty or guarantee. Any leveling needs to be done BEFORE the wood floor is installed.
