If you have condensation problem - switch off fridge and defrost. If you have wire racks then add a card and wrap around that and place on top of shelf. Best wishes..
You can get a self-stick shelf liner at most dollar stores or anywhere like Walmart or Home Depot. I'd clean the shelves first and then apply the paper as the directions tell you to. Let me know if that helps! If you were asking something different, I can help with that, too!
Hmmm...after mulling your question over for quite awhile, I have to dissent from the popular use of plastic sheets (shelf liners) on refrigerator shelves for the reason they are wire shelves with the purpose of cold air circulating, keeping all foods cool and at an even temperature.
The plastic liners would hinder this.
If you really want to use a shelf liner, just lay it ontop of the wire racks, as easy as that.

Here's another idea.
Jan....I would just use a nice shelf liner without sticking it to the shelves of the refrig.
