Might be cheaper in the long run to buy a nice slip cover to fit and just throw that into the washing machine when needed. Amazon has a huge selection. You first find the type of couch you have and then browse what is available for that style.
Use paintable caulking over the damaged areas. first smooth with wet fingers. Let dry then sand smooth. Paint area with regular latex wall paint to match your leather. Sometimes there is a piece attached to the underside of your furniture you can take in to color match your paint.
