How do I remove dye transfer from my white leather sofa safely?
The dye came from brown suede pillows. I've tried leather cleaner/conditioner with no results.
I would just use a lint roller, or a vacuum with a special extension (my Dyson has one with bristles and it works great at getting pet hair up) or a wet towel with some scrubbing will work, too.
Do you have a rubber glove? If you put it on and rub on the fabric you should be able to get lots of hair off. :)
I use wide masking tape !
Thank you so much! Happy Holidays
Julie,...Large lint roller works for many
I agree with Frugal. A rubber glove or even just a disposable vinyl glove works fastest
What works well is a rubber glove, just go along the surfaces where the cat hair is and it sticks to the glove.
Recently another Hometalker had success with a wet washcloth, you could give that a try to and see what works best for you.
To remove the hair from the wash cloth, just pull it off and put the hair in the garbage, then wash the cloth.
Best to you.
