Hi Beatrice, vinegar and water is the best combination. Here's an article that will provide you the help you need.

Training your dog is the only long-term solution, OP.

I love my dog so much but it constantly did the things that irked me most. It would chew on things that it shouldn’t or jump up and down out of the blue. Whenever I put on the leash, it would pull on it. Whenever it was out of the house, it would continue digging on the ground - I wish I could tell what it was looking for down there. All the things it did left me feeling depressed as if I failed it monumentally.

But since I discovered Brain Training for Dogs and applied the system offered, it now behaves the way a beautiful dog I always expect of.

I use an oxygenated powder like Awesome Orange or Oxycleam mixed in warm water and scrubbed into the stain. I replace my shampoo for my steam cleaner with the same and find that it works better than commercial carpet shampoo in the machine.

Hey Beatrice, sorry you have dog urine stains in your home. Cleaning with Woolite pet stain and order remover is great (with oxy), but preventing them is better, We have a dog door with a fenced yard and the dogs can go out when ever they need to. Be sure your pet is neutered and they won't mark furniture. Good luck and I hope this helped.

Hi Beatrice. I'm Cindy. I recommend Woolite's Rug and Upholstery cleaner. It has a brush built in the lid. With this product a little goes a long way. Just spray a little on the stain. It will foam up. Then use the built-in brush to scrub the stain. My husband works for our school district and this is what they use in the schools. It is kid and pet friendly.

They make a great product Vetoquinol Equalizer pet and stain remover It is slightly expensive but works great! It was the only thing I have found to get out cat urine stain and odor. You can buy online and at some vet clinics.

My family and I make sure we blot up the pee first. We then spray Nature’s Miracle on it and let it sit 10 minutes. I then blot that up. I follow up with a spray carpet cleaner (even on the sofa) and use it according to the cleaners’ instructions.
