Then he sprayed with snow..I was wondering if you spray the the branches with water and the sprinkle baking soda or flour on the arrangement to make it more Pet friendly

I don't think I would wet the branches with water first. It might get gummy looking rather than pretty. I recently saw a post where they just used a sifter to sift powdered sugar over a evergreen table arrangement! You could use flour too. It's worth a test try!

Hi Kim. I'm Cindy. I would not apply water to your arrangement or anything edible. You could use a spray adhesive and sprinkle Epson Salt on top of that.

Hello. Im not sure -we know what project you are specifically asking about. Can you ask the question again directly on that specific project post?

That will help you get a meaningful reply direct from the person that created the project post.

Flour or baking soda would not give you the sparkle like faux snow will.

I would avoid food products around pets, because it will attract them. If you take cotton or polyester fill, like you stuff a toy or pillow with, and pull it with your fingers, sort of stretching it out, you will get a fine "snow like" material that you can place on the branches. It isn't toxic, won't smell like food and can be vacuumed easily if you want to remove it or it gets on the floor.

As a pet owner, I'd give this idea up. Unless your tree comes with fake snow, anything you try will result in some snow falling off and may get swallowed by pets. No matter what ingredients you use, there is a chance it may harm your pets. It's just not worth it.
