How can I clean a coffee stain out of a living room rug?

Try a squirt of dish soap, 2 tablespoons vinegar and a cup of warm water. Blot gently to remove the stain.

I have always had luck with the oxi type carpet cleaners. And or steam cleaning with a rug doctor machine.

SpotShot is really good for getting spots out of upholstery and carpet.

If you haven't tried Folex carpet cleaner , get some !!! Hands down the best cleaner out there !!! I bought it at home depot for around $6 . I used it to get rid of coffee stains and grape juice stains out of a dream colored carpet ! Good luck !!!

You need a steam cleaner to pick up the stain from under the rug with sucksion

I use a product called Woolite Rug and Upholstery Cleaner. It has a brush built in the lid. A little goes a long way. Shake it and press the nozzle. It comes out in foam. Aim it over the stain and spray. Use the built-in brush to scrub the stain and it will disappear. My husband works for our school district and this is what they use. I have been very happy with results.
