You can hang them upside down in a cool dark place until they dry out and then you can display them in a pretty vase.

Hi Janice. I'm Cindy. So sorry to hear that your Mom passed away. I recently dried some funeral flowers. I gathered several flowers together with a rubber band. Not tight. I used a safety pin and hung them upside down (that's important) on to my kitchen curtains. I put the safety pin thru the rubber band and on to the curtain. I let them hang for 6 weeks. After that you can use the flowers any way you like. Don't forget to include baby's breath or any greenery in your groupings. I hope you find this helpful. Good luck Janice and again my condolences.

    HI Janice,

The above suggestions are all beautiful and practical to do for keeping the flowers, I would like to add something:

As slsong as you can see her face and hear her voice, she is with you.

  • Hi Janice - We didn't keep Mamma Fortitude's flowers so I don't have an answer for your question. But I did want to take a moment to offer my sincerest condolences, prayers, love, and blessings to you and your family. We lost Mom in August, and this is our first Christmas without her and as it draws near, the void grows bigger and bigger. I know the holidays will be tough for you, and please know that you are not alone and are lifted up.

    Love and hugs, Holly

You can dry them in silicone powder and keep them whole or press individual petals in a book or a flower press. A book works just as well. You can put the dried ones inbetween two pieces of glass with a clear glue and add a frame. Keep out of direct sunlight though or they will fade quickly.
