Dee: I have had good luck with Lime Away. Then! ALWAYS use a squeegee after showers - no excuses!

I also always squeegee after a shower since it keeps them so much cleaner. It sounds crazy, but, if I see a dried shampoo or soap on the glass (my husband doesn't squeegee) I put a dab of shampoo on a microfiber cloth, wipe the spot, then rinse. It takes it right off. About once a month, I clean the glass with Aunt Fanny's vinegar glass cleaner. I usually spray it onto a microfiber cloth (a trick learned from a professional cleaner) instead of directly on the glass.

I have totally been converted to using a squeegee every time, or quickly drying the shower walls down with a towel after showering. Amazing how little time it takes and the shower always looks good

I have had good luck with Bar Keeper's Friend. It also does a great job removing hard water stains on glass, even outside where your lawn irrigation may hit your windows & cause a foggy type buildup. It contains oxalic acid which works at a molecular level to break the stain or buildup down. It's a natural compound so it's safer than bleach for sure but I still wear gloves while using it. The best part about it is you don't even have to use a whole lot of elbow grease. It comes in liquid and powder. It use both but prefer the liquid for glass. Good luck!

EdFred cleaner works great. I used to stage resale houses. EdFred will remove soap scum and hard water stains from glass, chrome, fiberglass, you name it. We even used it to remove mineral deposits from around the waterline of an inground pool.

I heat a cup of vinegar and same amount of dawn dish soap in microwave for 1 min. Then I spray it all over the shower doors and let set 30 min. Then it scrubs right off with a rag, or for faster work, the srub side of a squeegy and then rinse off. Easy, but turn on the fan as it is strong smelling. It only takes a minute to spray on and 4 min. to scrub off (comes off easy) and to rinse. Except for the 30 min. wait, it is all done in 5 min. or less! This includes the shower walls too.

We had very hard water at our last house. It made the shower doors look so cloudy. The only thing that worked was CLR. The trick to using this product is to spray it on and walk away. Wait 15 or 20 mins and wipe it off. It made my shower doors looked crystal clean.
