How can I make a desk/dining table comfortable for a tall man?

Here's a link to a laptop table that can be built using a 1x12 board and furniture legs from the home improvement store. The legs can be removed for storage, and this table can sit atop another table or countertop to bring the laptop to the desired height. I hope this helps!

We did that with the monitor from my old computer. We built a simple "stool" and put it on the desk. The problem with a laptop is that if you raise the monitor part, you're also raising the keyboard. There are 2 solutions that might work. One would be to use a separate keyboard and raise the whole laptop to eye level. The other way would to try to build an angled stand where the keyboard part could rest at an angle and to monitor part could be raised higher. I'd suggest experimenting using books to get the angle to see if you can make it comfortable for him. If not, get a plug in keyboard and raise the laptop to eye level. Wishing you the best.
The key to good back/neck care is an adjustable chair, and having the monitor raised to eye level so you don't have crook in your neck. If your using a flat screen monitor you could mount it on one of the adjustable wall TV mounts - the kind will depend on the back of the screen the holes to screw into.

I was having shoulder and neck pain at work until I raised the height of my monitor to eye level, and started setting a timer for one hour to get up, stretch and move around. I thought it would interrupt my work, but, it made me more productive.
Try to get lifts they use for the bed legs and put on the desk legs to raise it
