Most flooring stores sell bits and ends of rolls of sheet vinyl at a discounted priced call them "remnants". This of course would depend on the size of your bathroom. I am assuming you want something completely water proof is that correct?
Mogie has a good idea - those roll ends are very inexpensive. You could possibly pick up one for less than $50

you can find peel and stick tiles also to cover the floor
You can get vinyl at Home Depot and Lowes. Or you can go to your local Habit for Humanity Re-store and get ceramic tiles for as little as 5-10 cent a piece.
