Is it possible to paint the grids in a window?

We are buying a home soon thats going to fill all my Magnolia Design feels. Its a southern architecture style home with white siding, red brick and a large front porch. I would love to do some slight updates to the exterior to make it "pop" a little more with curb appeal. I am thinking about a Black Front Door, with Black Trim around it. This house comes with upgraded windows that have the Grid lines Inside the window panel. I really want to see if can change those white Grid lines inside the window and the trim around it to black as well. Is it possible to DIY that color change to the Grid lines inside of window from white to black or does this task require a professional?
Wife asking before she puts this task on her hubbies "to-do" list. (tehehe)

If the grid is inside the window between 2 panes of glass they have been factory sealed and are made to be energy efficient. You don't really want to break that seal to paint the grids. You can paint the trim around it--the outside trim around the windows--but you will have to live with the white grids.
while you can't paint the grids themselves if they are as Gk says, inside the glass, you can paint the glass itself.

Those grids usually pop out for window cleaning and can then be "popped out" and spray painted any color you want...
That's called a divided light window. The newer ones come with faux dividers that can be removed.
Otherwise its tape and paint.
There are window repair companies that can disassemble windows, but the cost to do them may not be to your liking. Then you would have to paint the grids and re-assemble the windows. That would be a second trip and you would be without a window until the paint dries. If you are talking about grids that sit on the surface of the glass and not inside two panes then just paint them and scrape off the paint from the glass with a razor blade.
Nope. Like Gk says. The grids are factory installed between the sealed panes of glass. No way to get at them.
Those grids are added at the manufacturing company you can’t touch them there sealed in the window
I'm sorry, but I don't think it is possible if the grids are between the sealed panes.

I’m having this same issue right now! Did anyone find a solution? I’m considering applying adhesive vinyl (like decals) cut in black strips just to cover up the grids. Thoughts? Has anyone ever painted the glass?
I saw a blog that used electrical tape to cover them.
Hello, You maybe able to get the effect you require by using Black Gaffer Tape on the inside and out to cover the white lines.
