I like to decorate for the season, and that means things can stay up for 3 months! I grabbed a wreath form, some paper doilies, and a battery operated strand of lights and got started!

I grabbed a 12" wire wreath form from Dollar Tree.
I also bought a couple packages of paper doilies. They were 32 in a pack for all the same size and I used 45 doilies for this project.I folded the 2 sides in to make a point at the bottom and then folded the bottom up to the middle.
I then hot glued doilies around the outer 2 rings all the way around. They roughly fit 3 doilies per section.
I then hot glued the next set in the inside 2 rings all the way around. They fit roughly 2 doilies per section.
I then took a battery operated light strand and put it between the inside and outside rings of doilies. I hot glued the battery pack on the back.
I decided the front was a little plain so I added one more row around the inside ring of doilies.
You could easily use heart shaped doilies for this project as well and simply fold them up and glue.

Absolutely gorgeous wreath! Did you make the little doily stars (?) on either side of the wreath? I love those too and would like to copy!!
Hi Jeanne, I did make those too, thank you. A new post and video coming soon for those 😊
