How can I upcycle empty Planters nuts cans?

Cover with contact paper and use to hold small items like rubber bands, clips, tacks, and such.

I wash them out carefully and let them dry. You can't soak them but they can be wiped out and dried. I make a trail mix out of nuts, candies, raisins etc. I use decorative paper sleeves made from craft paper to decorate the outside. I fill them and give them to my teenage family members on different holidays! They love it!

The oil from the peanuts will remain in the cardboard and will eventually make it rancid, and may also attract vermin. From a health and safety viewpoint, it is not recommended the these containers be reused.

Use them to store Pen & Pencils, rulers and anything tall, or pop a jar inside and use it for flowers, once you have decorated the outside to match decor.

Storage or gifts of items in these cans is great for a 1 time, after that, no, just recycle because it can attract insects and other pests.

Cute way to give gifts. Clean the cans, then cover them with contact paper and fill with homemade cookies, brownies or whatever.
