I have seen people cut up connected strips and make crochet rugs with them. Also, I have seen people use them as filling for outdoor pillows. I re-use them as trash bags for my bathroom trash cans. I also use them for my kids to carry all their clean clothes from the laundry room to their bedroom instead of baskets.

I carefully fold and reuse all plastic shopping bags. Take them on trips to hold dirty laundry. Use them for messy projects to hold disposable items. Started a big project for Hometalk where I was going to braid them to make a doormat.

Hi Betty - We use ours as liners for small trash cans, trash bags in the car, dirty laundry when traveling, stuffing for mailing small packages, give a neighbor something back that they borrowed, that sort of thing. I normally take my own bags to the store, but we always have a few plastic bags around for these kinds of uses. Hope this helps. Hugs, Holly
