Look at the drawer glide and see what has worn or failed.If it’s all-wood on wood, then you might be able to replace some wood or add some reinforcing.
Okay, this might sound silly, but is the floor underneath the piece of furniture completely level? Sometime you can fix this kind of thing with shims or wobble stoppers. If the furniture is tilting forward, that might cause the drawer to open on its own.
