How can I create a storage space between the two sides of this easel?
What could I use to place over these purple bars to hold paints and aprons for my kiddo as a storage space? I’d rather her not be tempted by having the paints in the front but in the middle somehow. I know I can make something but what would be doable?thanks! Pics for reference.

Hi there. So you could cut a wooden board that will fit the space between the purple arms and then secure it to them with U brackets from underneath. Since the board will be secured to the arms you will still be able to fold it up when necessary. Hope that helps.
Perhaps you could get a plastic storage bin with a lid and it could rest on the purple bars. Some of them have a big lip going around and the bin would rest on the bar using that.
Ikea has these little plastic sink trays that span both sides of a kitchen sink for drying dishes or produce. They are about 14" long and I think it might fit in the middle between the cross bars
Use Velcro straps to affix something like a nail apron.
Where is this item located?
Measure the bottom space precisely and I'm sure you'll find a plastic storage container that will fit that space. If you label/affix pictures of items contained inside, you can put 1 or 2 more containers on top on top of that one. Put the most used items in the top container and leave the lid off.
You can fiddle around with velcro along with creating a holder to affix to the top of each side of the easel. You can get a large roll of drawing paper to put there. I'm thinking something maybe 2 sides of a cheap plastic paper towel holder.

What about using Command hooks on the back of the easels to hang aprons and lightweight, strong, (and see through) net/mesh bags to hold other things. It would require an adult to reach in and take the bag off the hook but otherwise items would be easily accessible, and it would help get stuff off the floor anyway.
Not a bad idea! I just want to store the apron and paints close to it and paper can be elsewhere! Thanks!
ebay has a ton of listings for those old Kaboodles. They would fit in the empty space and they usually have cool colors and trays that pop out. If you just had a piece of wood as a shelf, or you can figure out a way to affix the box to the side arm?
