How can I upcycle things I already have to build a doghouse?

Question

I have zero carpentry skills. I need a dog house for outside (large dog). Are there any furniture or other object repurposing hacks out there? Thanks!

Lots of old TV cabinets are repurposed for this.

This means that that cabinet must be coated with at least 2 full coats, inside and out, with exterior grade polyurethane and it will need a sloping roof.

I would go to Home Depot and buy a sheet of 5/8” CDX plywood and have them cut it into pieces on their panel saw (2 cuts are free, there). Cut 1: roof that hangs over all the edges by at least 12” and Cut 2: a ramp.

I would paint the plywood with exterior grade paint.

The ground needs to have a platform of bricks or blocks to keep it out of the mud.
