How can I keep my pet rabbits from eating my houseplants?

My two rabbits love the challenge of getting to my houseplants to eat them. One especially is good at climbing. I don't want to put a lot of holes in the ceiling to hang the plants. I'm looking for a solution that still looks decorative.

Move the plants. I went through that when I had rescue rabbits. I moved all the plants to a few rooms that had the right lighting for the plants and kept the doors closed so the bunnies couldn't get to them. Also they love cilantro, if you load them up on that, they may be less inclined to chomp on your plants. I purchased at my local Hispanic or Asian markets, generous bunches for a quarter each v. a sad wimpy bunch for a dollar or more at a regular chain grocery store. I fed them half a bunch at breakfast and a half a bunch at dinner.

  Yes, they do like cilantro. Thanks for the tip on where to buy it. I also feed them romaine lettuce. In the summer, they get more variety. Yep, I have moved the plants to different rooms for now. Or way up high where they can't reach.

  Thank you. My wheels are turning now. Fencing- I could use some kind of decorative fencing around some of the plants, like I had to do with our Christmas tree this year! And I may try to apply the hot pepper spray or something just as tasty to the plants leaves.
