Baking soda can be used as an air purifier. It absorbs the odor. I place it it in uncovered bowls wherever I want to remove the odor.

Hi Monique - This is my favorite Febreze style air freshener. It's an all-natural DIY and easy to make. You can omit the essential oils to make it unscented. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly

I think it's impossible to make an unscented air freshener yourself.
I think it's impossible to make an unscented air freshener yourself. I also happen to be one of those people who are very sensitive to smells, the strong ones to be more exact - flowers, perfumes, etc. That's why I usually use sprays with scentless ingredients. I just wanna enjoy inhaling pure, clean air in my house. Recently, I found out from a friend about a smoke neutralizer that works perfectly in my case. It removes odors and doesn’t just cover them up. And most importantly - no scent whatsoever. You should give it a try.
