Easy peasy- CHEAP- torn screen repair. If you can use a needle and thread you can fix that screen!

I didn’t think to take photos until I was done but it’s so simple, photos aren’t really needed. So many people have thought my screen repair was a real butterfly. They’re surprised when I tell them it’s a repair.

Simply buy two identical sew-on patches big enough to cover the screen tear. With a needle and thread sew the two patches back-to-back THROUGH the window screen -‘ one on the inside and one on the outside - making a kind of screen sandwich.

Depending on where the hole is on the screen you may need a second person to push the needle and thread back through the patch. I didn’t even need to remove my screen.
