I believe you just grate the soap into a container ad pull out a scoop when required. Hope that helps..

Hi Peggy, this one has borax in it

1. 1 cup Dr Bronner's liquid castile soap (any variety)
2. 1 cup baking soda OR washing soda.
3. 2 cups + 3 cups hot tap water (plus more to top off the gallon)
4. 1/3 cup of sea salt, or other coarse grained salt.
5. 1 gallon container (any clean jug or milk bottle works)
