They can be tied to a spring-tension curtain rod to use as a decorative window treatment, used under a lamp on top of an end table or nightstand or sewn together in a quilt. Some that are more decorative can be framed as wall art... I hope this helps!
Hello Jez hope this gives you some ideas
Hi Jez: You can make a quilt top out of them, or some curtains. You can also make a table runner or table cloth. Good luck
You could sew them into throw pillows! Here's an easy way to: https://www.frugalfamilytimes.com/2012/05/diy-easy-way-to-sew-pillow-beginners.html
As I recall, scarves in the 1950's were very small neck scarves. That is decorative scarves, not wool scarves for weather. The small scarves were worn over sweaters and were maybe 12 or 14 inches square. Not too much you could do with them
Table scarves, sew a few together as a runner, use as a window valance, make decorative pillows. Or, just wear them! I use all of my mom and grandmother's scarves to this day. Can dress up a plain sweater or blouse.
What type of fabric are they made out of, and what size are they (dimensions)?
