Is it a "floating" floor or glued down?

When I took up an old laminate floor I scraped it up a tile at a time. If it is sheet flooring it is easier to cut it with a utility knife in strips.

Take off the quarter round moulding on the sides and use a prybar to lift it up starting on one side.
Assuming it is not nailed/glued down but is floating floor. Attack floor at one edge and just continue prying it up. It should come up easily once you get started. You may want to remove baseboard at one or all walls.
