How can I make over a bathroom vanity?
Our home needs a bathroom vanity makeover, how can we do this? It is wood but the outside is some kind of outer coating almost like wallpaper and is peeling up off the wood what would be an easy fix for this?

It may not be an easy fix, but there are different methods you can try. If you can remove all the old surface, you will have your base to start with. Options are sanding it smooth, priming and painting, applying a new film or surface, such as laminate, contact paper, beadboard, etc. If it is particle board under the peeling surface, you may save some time and frustration covering it. I am sure there are many other options, but those are a few to consider.
This is what I ended up doing with mine Cynthia.

I needed to do something, they were driving me crazy. It's been about 5 years and they still look fantastic! I did the same to the kitchen cabinets also. I think Mod Podge will hold up to just about anything!
Just an idea. Wishing you luck!
