Hi Margie, hope these tips help,

    1. Do not use excessive fabric softener as it can clump/clog.
    2. Wipe down the washers inner wash drum to keep clean and free of grease/oil/detergent.
    3. Keep the washers detergent dispenser open for airflow when not in use to avoid mold/clogging/bad smells.

Some dryers can leave brown stains on clothes due to the clothes rubbing across or getting caught in loose felt drum seals. ... On some dryers, a problem with exhaust air flow could cause overheating of garments. Make sure that the lint screen is clean before every cycle.

    HI Margie,

If you mean grease stains are not coming out, try a pre-treatment with blue dawn dish soap on the spots and let it set for 15-20 mins. launder in the hottest water possible for that fabric and use a hydrogen based bleach like Oxyclean plus your regular laundry detergent. After the wash cycle, remove and inspect the garment for stains, if they are still there, repeat the same process,

Do not put it in the dryer if still stained, the dry heat will set the stain. Best to you.
