How to make an easy bird seed wreath. This looks cute in your backyard and feeds the wild birds. This is an easy craft that can be done in under an hour. It's great for older kids, too.
You'll need:
  • 4 cups  bird seed
  • 3/4 cups white or whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 3 tablespoon light corn syrup
  • 1 packet  unflavored gelatin
  • cooking spray
  • bundt pan
  • ribbonl
  • arge bowl
  • spoon
Dissolve the gelatin in the warm water. Stir until dissolved.

Add the flour and corn syrup. Stir until it's thick and creamy.

Add bird seed one cup at a time. Stir well to make sure it all gets coated.

Spray the pan with cooking spray. Spoon the mixture into the bundt pan. Press firmly with the back of a spoon so it gets packed in tightly.

Let sit for 24 hours. Carefully unmold it. I set it upside down on a cookie sheet and flipped it over. I had to tap the mold with a spoon to release it.

Once it's released, use a piece of ribbon to loop through it and tie a bow at the top. Then hang from a tree and enjoy!

I used a bird seed blend for cardinals and blue jays because that's what I have. Use your favorite bird seed blend.
