Gosh that is a lot! Especially when you can paint it! I love Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint for raw wood/flooring. Since you can mix it yourself you can mix it thinly and apply it as a stain. It soaks right into the wood and looks gorgeous. With it mixed as a stain you can see some of the wood grain through the paint then as well (if you like that look) and can choose any colour in the line. You can also then leave it as is or put a clear coat on top. The Miss Mustard Seed Milk paint has lots of info :)
I am not sure as I am in Canada but I would think probably not. It is usually sold in smaller stores. You can find a list of all retailers on the Miss Mustard Seed site though. I believe there is a page that you can put in your location and any close to you will show up :)
There is a paint formulated especially for floors that I purchased at Home Depot. It can be tinted and there are 2 versions so you will need to do a bit of research to make sure which one to choose for your application. I'm assuming you are referring to interior floors. They will clean and no type of top coat like polyurethane or varnish.

I always use oil based primer and paint on wood floors. Be sure to make sure it is totally clean and free of wax. Ammonia cleans off wax. Lightly sand before priming.I know folks don't like oil, but it has always held up and served me well.
Clean the floor well. Prime with Kilz primer. 100% acrylic latex finish resists mildew, scuffing, fading, cracking and peeling. Latex will expand in warmer temperatures and contracts during cool temperatures. This makes it durable to use in most any condition.

I would use a good primer like Kilz and then consult Sherwin Williams for a good quality paint to go over the primer.
