How can I upcycle three different-sized glass vases?

Do you want to paint them? Mod podge them? Add embellishments? In my collection of vases from teeny tiny to jumbo size that sit on the floor - some have been upcycled and embellished and some have been left as is. Here are what other Hometalkers have done - see if anything strikes your fancy!

My wonderful granddaughter decoupaged a metal vase for me for Xmas. She included the women authors I like best; Virginia Woolf, Vita Sackville West, Louisa May Alcott etc. etc. Maybe you could do a similar thing. Or some time ago there were instructions on this site for coloring plain vases with food coloring and glue (I believe) I did that and they came out great!

A friend gave me a glass vase for Christmas...it was filled with little silver ornaments made just for filling glass vases. Looked festive on my end table.

I have clear glass ones I fill with ornaments. I like gold and silver for Christmas, but, red can be used for Valentine's day, red, white and blue for the 4th and Memorial day.

You can use colored tissue paper and mod podge and line the vases for a stain glass look.
